Multicentre retrospective study investigating the management and outcomes of paediatric achalasia
​
Background:
Achalasia is a rare disease in children. There is no consensus on management and a paucity of evidence regarding current outcomes.​
​
Aims:
​
The OPERA study aims to report treatment method and outcomes retrospectively for all children treated for achalasia. We are looking for a trainee at each centre to collect these data.
​
​
Methodology:
Retrospective multicentre study investigating current investigations and management strategies, and documentations of outcomes.
